Terms of
Service.
The rules that govern using an EWUS device, ewusOS and the services built on it. Plain language where we can manage it, precise where it has to be.
Last updated 2026. Effective from the date your EWUS device or account is activated.
1. Agreement to these terms
By setting up, activating or using an EWUS device, the ewusOS software running on it, or any EWUS mobile app, web dashboard or connected service, you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a household, property, business or ISP, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.
2. What we provide
EWUS provides network gateway hardware running ewusOS, along with optional licensed modules (HomeShield, AnyB, Secure, Network) and supporting cloud, app and support services. The exact features available to you depend on your hardware tier and licence, as described on the relevant product page.
3. Your account and identity
Some features require an identified account, a person, a resident, a subscriber or an administrator. You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be legally entitled to enter into this agreement in India, or the jurisdiction you're using the service from.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use an EWUS device or service to break the law, to interfere with the security or normal operation of any network, to attempt to circumvent licensing or access controls, or to resell or sublicense the service without our written agreement. Property, campus and business licences may set further rules for the residents, students, staff or subscribers connected through them.
5. Subscriptions, billing and our ten-year promise
Some features are included with your hardware; others are licensed on a subscription basis. Consistent with our written promise: if a subscription lapses, your device keeps working with its core features, only the paid extras pause. We don't cut off your connectivity for a billing issue. Pricing and plan details are shown at the point of purchase or in your account.
6. Software updates
EWUS devices receive ewusOS updates automatically, including security fixes, for ten years from the device's launch, as described in our promise. Updates may add, change or remove features. If an update fails, the device is designed to revert to its last good configuration automatically rather than lose connectivity.
7. Data and privacy
What we collect, how it's used and who can see it is described in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: detailed activity stays on your device, never our servers, and what rolls up to us is limited to what's needed to keep the service running.
8. Intellectual property
EWUS, ewusOS, our logos and product names are the property of EWUS Technologies Pvt Ltd. Using our devices and services doesn't grant you any ownership of our software, trademarks or documentation, beyond the licence needed to use the product as intended.
9. Warranty and liability
EWUS hardware is covered by the warranty terms provided at purchase. To the extent permitted by Indian law, EWUS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access to licensed features for misuse, non-payment of a subscription, or a genuine security concern, following the same fail-open principle described in our promise: your core connectivity is never the thing we take away. You may stop using the service at any time; your device continues to function as a standard gateway.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with an updated date, and for material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active account holders directly.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
